Taken from the SIGA Success Strategies online magazine.

It might have been his intuition that first guided Jose Silva to recognize the value of the 10 cycles per second alpha brain wave frequency, but he soon found more scientific evidence to support his belief that it is extremely valuable.

Here is what he had to say about it:

Alpha functioning, by Jose Silva

When a person is taught to function at the correct brain frequency, the brain frequency that has been named "alpha" by scientists, the person can use the right brain hemisphere to be healthier, happier, and more successful.

Alpha covers a range between 7 and 14 cycles or Hertz per second - the vibration of the electrical energy of the brain. The center of Alpha would then be 10.5, but it is known as Alpha 10 cycles or Hertz per second.

Another area where this 10 Hertz Alpha is mentioned is in Astronomy. It has been said that the space formed between the earth and the ionosphere forms a resonating cavity pulsing magnetically at 10 Hertz per second. This magnetic pulsing energy is now considered a fundamental universal life producing energy.

In the human brain we find electricity, magnetism and chemistry. Experiments conducted with the 10 Hertz magnetic field has been proven to excite, to stimulate the atomic particles in matter.

When a person has learned to function consciously at a brain frequency of 10 Hertz, that person is in harmony with the universal energy in space.

When a person is in resonance with the universal energy in space, subatomic particles in the person's body chemistry are being stimulated, excited.

This excitation is passed on to the immune system who controls body chemistry, strengthening the immune system.

A person staying in harmony with universal energy for 15 minutes a day is therapeutic and healthy. When this is done it will maintain a person in good health.

When a person is sick, depending on the seriousness of the problem, one, two, and even three 15-minute sessions of mental exercises may be advised for healing.

Using the subconscious consciously

When a person is consciously functioning at 10 Hertz, at that time that person, beside being in resonance with universal energy, strengthening the immune system, that person can also use the information stored in the subconscious consciously.

Each brain hemisphere has a set of senses:

*The left has set of objective, physical, biological senses.

*The right has a set of subjective, spiritual senses.

The objective senses detect information and records it on the left brain hemisphere and records a duplicate in the right brain hemisphere.

The subjective senses sense information and records it on the right brain hemisphere, but no duplicate is transferred to the left brain hemisphere. This indicates that there is bound to be more problem solving information in the right brain than in the left.

People without the Silva Method training cannot use the information stored in the right brain, they consider that information to be in the subconscious.

Those who have learned to function consciously at 10 Hertz call that dimension the inner conscious, and they can use the information stored in the right brain hemisphere because for them it is not subconscious, meaning it is not beyond their reach.

This means that the right brain thinker has more information at his disposal for problem solving. A successful person is one who solves more problems and information is needed in problem solving.

The Silva Method is the instrument that helps humanity to transcend genius intelligence and move into the second phase of human development on this planet.

Bruce Lipton "The Power of Consciousness"

Really listen to what he's saying .... particularly at about 9 minutes.

Anything sound familiar?

By 11 minutes (and again at 32 minutes) he's definitely talking about something you heard in the SLS!

Notice what he begins at 12.30 minutes through at least 15 minutes.

I love what he says at about 29 minutes: the way to fight the system is to not be a part of it. Interesting? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

I'm sure you'll enjoy the whole recording...If you'd like to talk about it, email me at Barbara.SilvaStars@gmail.com.

May the Force Be With You?

Since I've been reading lately about quantum researcher's perspectives, I really enjoyed this article.
I trust you will too.

Have you been experiencing some radical shifts of consciousness and “higher self” experiences lately? Stories of “ordinary” people suddenly traveling out of their body, channelling, and having instant personal transformation are appearing all over the web.

Maybe we’re just coming “out of the closet” about such experiences. I have had many such experiences over the years, including one spontaneous collapse onto a cement floor, a brief trip out into the universe, and a return to what I still feel is an entirely different level of so-called reality.
Still, until recently my attempt to understand exactly where my “higher self” IS has often felt like a search for fairies and dragons lurking in a dark closet.

To backtrack a bit, I am both a metaphysician and a mind/brain researcher and transformational psychologist. So I want both my intuition and my logic to agree on the answer. Whew!
However something new is now peering out of the mysterious closet of the world of modern science, and it has profoundly clarified my personal understanding of the “higher self.”

Scientists exploring the nature of sub-atomic reality have found that what mystics claimed for thousands of years is absolutely true – we definitely ARE connected to a higher source of energy that goes beyond our individual normal selves.

We are now being told that ALL of life definitely exists as a single unified conscious field – an interwoven consciousness in which each part affects the whole at every moment. In more “popular” terms – we are each like a knot on a “fisherman’s net” extending out through endless dimensions of time and space.

This understanding developed as the scientists explored smaller and smaller portions of the atom. They found that at the most extremely small and immeasurable level of reality, there’s still some unknown force. And this force is present even at the temperature of absolute zero, where all other known forms of energy vanish into an unknown invisible force field.

Did you just hear Yoda from StarWars say, “May the force be with you?” I think all seekers of higher consciousness know this to be true on an intuitive level, but scientific confirmation can boost intuition to a new level of “belief.”

Interestingly, this mysterious force field is not exactly “energy,” nor is it a field of empty space. The physicists describe it as a field of information – a “Zero-Point Field.”

This undifferentiated space from which life arises is now seen as a sea of pure consciousness, with matter and energy just two of the forms it can take.

Physicist Ervin Laszlo calls this field the “A-field.” He is obviously referring to the ancient Vedic concept of the “Akashic record,” the nonphysical repository of all knowledge in the universe long been proposed by metaphysicians.

Laszlo says, “The ancients knew that space is not empty; it is the origin and memory of all things that exist and have ever existed. This insight is now being rediscovered at the cutting edge of the sciences [and is emerging] as a main pillar of the scientific world’s picture of the twenty-first century. This will profoundly change our concept of ourselves and of the world.”

The scientific evidence is IN! Our higher self is already totally directly connected to the One Great Source of consciousness, whatever we choose to call it.

You’ve heard of people who channel spirit guides, angels, extraterrestrials and ascended masters. Since this channelled information must also originate in the Zero-Point Field, we must all be potentially capable of channelling. In fact, perhaps our individual brains are sending and receiving stations connected to the one source of consciousness.

A conscious experience of feeling connected to this source is transformative. It taps into the same power the geniuses, mystics, gurus, prophets, holy men and women, and great teachers throughout history have accessed.

So … how can you tap into this yourself? Research proves that meditation physically changes the brain and lets dedicated meditators achieve remarkable higher levels of consciousness. Then there’s yoga, fire walking and brainwave training. Can these tools also enhance our connection to the Zero-Point Field?

What do YOU feel is the best way to grow our higher self by consciously tapping into the Zero-Point Field?

How to Change Your Frequency Using the Dial Method

Ever have the experience of needing to go somewhere...school, work, running errands, etc...and you feel sort of 'punk'. Certainly not depressed but maybe just a little 'blue'. Feeling a little lazy.

You're obviously not ill. (Or maybe you are feeling ill. See the * below.)

Then you make yourself go and discover that you don't feel nearly as punk as you felt earlier. You may actually have a good time!

What you've done - unconsciously - is increase your frequency, your vibration and by doing that you feel lots better!

Or maybe you're in a really bad mood, irritated, angry... Just this week I used the Dial Method to get out of that kind of mood. (The clerk would be very grateful if he knew!) Driving to the store I realized I was ready to bite nails! I also realized how icky I was feeling and I do NOT like that nor did I desire to dump that kind of feeling onto someone else.

As I used the Dial Method, a subtle smile began to form. I felt better. And better. And better!

Again, raising frequency changes everything.

As a Silva Graduate you can easily do this, consciously, and make your life a lot more pleasant!

Here's a description of how I do it:

The Dial Method

1.  Go to your Level (Silva Grads know how to get there and stay as long as they like.)

2.  Imagine, visualize or 'know' that before you is a dial of some sort.
(I remember the dial on my Uncle Ray's antique console radio.)

3.  Now begin to move that dial so that your frequency goes higher.
(I imagine turning that dial to my right so that it moves to a 'higher station'.)

Your intuition lets you know when you've gone far enough.

Note: instead of a dial you might choose to use a lever, a button and digital display or anything that your mind equates with giving you the ability to raise your frequency.

* Yes, this is useful in health situations. It's known that bacteria and viruses function within certain frequency ranges. If you're not in their range they cannot affect you!

There have been times that I've felt as though a cold was attempting to settle in. By raising my vibration I've often totally stopped it. Or at least shortened its duration to a day or two.

Big improvement!

Use the Dial Method to make YOUR life better better and better.

UPDATE: 2 points

First, if the topic you're addressing includes something such as adrenaline (in accident situations this is common) use a 'distinctly different' dial and turn it down.

There's no limit to the number of dials you can have!

Second, if you're having a series of unfortunate incidents...even accidents...use this technique to raise your frequency to be in an energetic stream where accidents are not included.

This may sound overly-simplistic or even overly-complicated to you. It's neither. Give it some thought and you'll see how easily you can use it to make your life better and better.

Blessings,
Barbara Hawkins

Earthquakes Within and Without – 7 Steps For Changing Beliefs

Ever think about changing your beliefs? Think it's impossible? Or nearly?

It's not!

The Silva Method provides a great system to do this very effectively. If you're a Graduate of one or more of the Silva courses, probably you quickly

by Dawn DelVecchio  March 13, 2011

If you’ve been feeling on edge lately but can’t really put your finger on why – let me assure you: you’re not alone. A lot of us are starting to realise that something is going on. There’s some big changes happening here on planet Earth – both geologically and metaphysically – and it doesn’t always feel good.

As earthquakes literally rock our world, we humans are being rocked by an internal upheaval just as life-transforming. What is it?

Changing Beliefs

You see, we’re undergoing a shift in human consciousness. And that shift has got a lot of us feeling like the very ground beneath us is rocking and swaying – not unlike the earth quakes that are getting more intense and frequent all around our planet.

This is a time when our ‘higher selves’ are asking us to make some radical changes in our beliefs, because the beliefs we once thought stable and certain are now shifting like so much sand under our feet.

But how do we go about changing beliefs? How do we stay clear and strong even as all we once knew is in flux? First, let’s have a look at what beliefs are, (or more importantly, what’ they’re not), and then look at what to do to make this transformation as smooth as possible.

1. You’re NOT your Beliefs

Here’s the dilemma: we think our beliefs define who we are. Then, when life offers us information that clearly challenges those beliefs, we tend to get angry, scared or shift into denial, feeling as if our very life is threatened. Sounds irrational, doesn’t it? But think about how many times you’ve experienced or observed hostility, resentment and even the loss of friendships (to say nothing of war and abuse) all because someone said you were wrong, or because you told someone they weren’t right.

But the thing is – you’re not your beliefs. Not at all. A belief, as Abraham-Hicks explains, is simply “a thought you keep thinking.” No matter how long you’ve held a belief, no matter how much you’ve invested your life, time and energy into a belief, you are much, much more than that. Let’s take an example to illustrate …

Let’s say you lived during the 15th century, and you grew up believing that the world was flat. Then this guy Columbus comes along and willy-nilly, the world becomes round and your beliefs are wiped aside like a silly bit of nonsense. Does this change change you? Does it reduce you, limit you or in any way diminish you? Of course not! In fact, if you lived during such an era of sweeping change (and believe me – you do!), the discoveries that demand an instantaneous change in your beliefs would have rocked your world – for the better.

2. Ask for Guidance

Whether you ascribe to a higher Self, higher power, deeper knowing, angelic forces or ultimate God/Source energy, during this time of change, calling upon that which is most sacred to you will help you find ease with this personal and planetary transition. This is because when we ask for guidance we reach beyond the ego-based personality, a structure founded on the very beliefs we may now be called to change.

3. Breath

Sounds simple – is mighty. Breath is Life, and bringing your attention to it during times of stress can actually assist your physiological functioning as well as calm your mind. So when changing beliefs is feeling so painful that it’s more like cutting off a limb, breath and breath and breath.

4. Face your Fears

Take some time to look with courage at the beliefs you cherish most, then ask yourself the scariest question of all: “What would happen if this belief were wrong?” Scary, eh? I understand. But the strange thing is, when you actually face your greatest fears surrounding your beliefs, you open the door to mental and emotional liberation. Don’t believe me? Try it and see.

5. Forgive

Forgive yourself, forgive others, forgive your fears, your doubts, your disbeliefs. Forgive anyone and anything – including those who taught you any beliefs that now seem false. The more your forgive, the freer you’ll feel. Promise.

6. Meditate

In order to really begin to feel that you are not your beliefs, you have to get some mental ‘space’ from them. And there’s no more powerful, efficient way to get some space between your self-beyond-your-beliefs and your thoughts is through meditation. Meditation creates spaciousness in the mind. Allowing you to recognize – as Eckhart Tolle would say – that your thoughts and beliefs are no more than “content in the NOW.”

7. Choose Love

I’m not just talking about romantic love. And I’m definitely not talking about conditional love of any kind. I’m talking about love as the opposite of fear. I’m talking about loving acceptance for self, for others and for the earth, no matter what changes come. I’m talking about dropping judgement, drama and fear and committing yourself to a higher, deeper presence – no matter how tumultuous life feels.

Are you feeling a tumult of changes in your life that are demanding you reevaluate your beliefs? If you are, please share your story with us in the comments section below. This way we can help to support each other during these changing times.

As many of you might know, last December, we hosted a personal growth getaway on the pristine beaches of Costa Rica called AwesomenessFest. About 200 people passionate about self development and spirituality came together, connected, and shared their learnings.

So for those who couldn’t join us, I wanted to share one of the best rated speeches at AwesomenessFest. It’s by psychic, David Morelli. He’s incredibly successful, having hit 2 million-dollar businesses over the past couple years and his radio show podcast, Everything Is Energy (hosted by him and his wife, Kristin) is the #3 show on iTunes just behind Oprah Winfrey and Marianne Williamson.

And he achieved all this using his intuition. Check out this video and if you want to skip straight to the meditation at the end, fast forward to the minute 22:33.

The Silva Method in the Land Where Meditation Began

Welcome to another edition of the SIGA Success Strategies online magazine.

Here is an article that Jose Silva wrote several years ago, after he returned from a very successful trip to India, where people were very happy to see him.

By JOSE SILVA

The Silva Method is a big success in the land where meditation began.

We just returned from a three-week visit to India and Bangladesh where more than 1,000 people came to the advanced Silva Method training with me.

Yoga is the oldest meditation system known. It began in India at least 5,000 years ago.

Yogis typically meditate at theta levels. This is why some of them are able to perform amazing feats with their bodies - sleeping on a bed of nails, slowing their metabolism so that they can be buried alive for a month, withstanding great pain.

But they cannot become mentally active at the theta level.

They told us that yoga feels wonderful. It can bring a sense of oneness, a feeling of euphoria. They say that they often gain great insight.

Yet with all of this, India still has a great amount of poverty and suffering.

Yoga is too slow, they report. It takes too long to learn how to solve the problems that they have here and now, and even then they seem limited compared to the techniques of the Silva Method.

We took the Ultra Seminar to India, presenting the 2-day program in Bombay and New Delhi, and also to Bangladesh. In all, more than 1,000 Silva Method graduates attended.

They learned new techniques to use to heal themselves and others:

*We taught them the Silva Rapid Hand Vibration Healing Method. We asked for volunteers, as we always do.

Several people came up front who were in pain, or who had limited mobility. Several others came up who wanted to be healers. We showed the healers what to do, and, as always happens, the subjects showed substantial improvement.
*They learned the complete laying on of hands system that has proven so successful, even for people with so-called "terminal" illnesses. They watched us demonstrate it, and then they practiced it themselves.

*They learned how to read the Silva Standard Conditioning Cycle to their loved ones, and then practiced reading it to each other. Now they are able to help their family members by teaching them how to find their level and use the Silva Method formula-type techniques.

*We showed them several additional ways that they can get a person into a receptive programming state, through confusion, suspense, and so forth.

*We covered the use of reinforcing mechanisms so that their programming will continue to work even when they are not present. It is sort of like a "timed release" medicine.

*They saw demonstrations of biofeedback equipment and learned many ways that it can help them to improve their lives. We showed them how to use a small tape player as a healing instrument.

*They found out how to program for various business situations, such as learning how to use a reinforcing mechanism to program a person to have a desire to pay a debt.

*They learned even more, such as how to use their level to strengthen family ties and build better relationships, the best time to program, special techniques to improve visualization, psychometry, and more.

It was only a few years ago that we first introduced the Silva Method in India. Bob Stone, the co-author of several of our books, opened the door for us.

Bob reported that the first time he went to India to talk about the Silva Method and effective the techniques are, one member of the audience spoke up and said, "Dr. Stone, it seems like you are storming the gates of heaven."

Bob said that he took a deep breath, looked him in the eye and answered, "Well, maybe it's time that we did."

The audience applauded enthusiastically.

Bimolendu Rakshit is our director in India, and Mahee Quazi in Bangladesh. They are adding new scientific findings to an old tradition of meditation and introspection.

The result is that more problems are being solved, people's lives are improving, and the world is becoming a little better place to live.

The Great Awakening (from Abraham)

Who's Creating Your Life - Your Problems or You?

What do you notice in your life? What do you think about?
How many problems are you actively worrying about?
How many things keep you awake at night? or wake you?

Did you ever notice that problems seem to 'breed'? ie The more you have to worry about, the more problems you have to solve, the more problems you have to solve! In fact, the better you are at solving those problems the more of them you get. You may ask yourself "Do people see me as a good problem solver...the go-to person to find answers?"

Do you really choose to live that way? How can you change that?

When you 'solve' a challenging situation, tell yourself "Well, that's finished...one less difficulty to handleand soon I'll be free of difficulties!"  (As a former 'go-to problem solver' I know it works because I've done it and my life is sooooo much better today.)

Now it's time to make sure you have interests and activities that are fun, uplifting, happy, fulfilling and the like. You cannot give up something without putting something in it's place. This is the Clean Closet Principal: if you remove most or all of the stuff, soon it's filled up again and almost always the new stuff is just as undesireable as the original stuff. Instead of returning to an old habit of worry and problems, make sure your life is filled with positive thoughts, words and experiences. Get excited about life!

Of course there will be challenging situations throughout life. It just happens sometimes but it doesnt have to be your theme. YOU control the theme of your thoughts, your days and your life. Sooner or later you'll notice that your life is going along much smoother than in the past...and you're loving it!

Let's look forward to better thoughts, better days and a better life every day...in every way!
