Memorial for Bob McChesney

There's a memorial for Bob McChesney this Sunday from 1 - 4 at the Mercer Island Community Center.

You're welcome to come if you'd like to meet more of Bob's friends and share your memories and stories of times with Bob.

If you are interested you can RSVP to BobMcChesneyMemorial@gmail.com & you'll receive directions, etc.

Bob, may your next 'adventure' be better and better!

Blessings...Barbara
Just received word that my dear sister-friend has left this physical life.

Now I'm crying like a baby. Yes, I know she's not really gone. Yes, I know she's no longer in pain. I'm not crying for her. I'm crying for me. I know I'll never get to hug her again, or laugh over some silly thing the cats have done, or go to see "Scrooge" (a Christmas tradition for us) or so many other things.

May she make an easy, quick transition to her next adventure...whatever that may be. Jozie, say Hi to Maggie and Bratt for me!

Blessings...Barbara

Where I've been

While I'm busy with social media and the coaching class and...so much...I apologize that this blog hasn't been higher on my 'list'.

In 1988 I met a lovely lady who became my sister-by-another-marriage. She is a dear person and missing her is one of the few things that cause me to miss KY. Last year she became ill and is currently in hospital...dying. It's grief to me that I cannot be with her...to hold her hand...do things for her...and let her know that I care deeply about her. I trust she knows these things already.

Using the lab/counselors I've stayed in touch and done healing work on her. It gives me a lot of comfort to do that.

Having lost other family and friends over the years, I'm reminded of how important it is to stay in touch, to say I love you, to hug and to have fun together.

Staying in touch applies to Silva Grads too. I feel that so many have become friends and I care a lot about them.

I'd love your thoughts about this.

Blessings....Barbara

My Purpose

So much interest currently re life purpose and certainly it's mine as well. I was delighted when the Silva Intuition Training was introduced and I saw that it included an exercise on life purpose and another on connecting with source.

I often mention in class that my purpose is two-fold:

First, I intend to provide the Silva courses regularly and have both new students and Graduates attending.
My part is to get the best training I can and do my best to make both my presence and information about the courses known. This includes quite a bit of time using technology and, in the near future, it will extend to tele-seminars.

Second I intend to do whatever I can to help Graduates effectively use what they learn in the course(s).
At the end of each class I tell everyone that they're entitled to a free half-hour coaching session. They may choose to extend that relationship for a while -- particularly if they have a special project, a long-term project or multiple projects.

By creating the habit of using Silva techniques on a regular basis, you make them a part of how you live every day. Sooner or later you realize that Silva is part of your life pattern and that's making your life so much easier, fuller and more fun!

More later. In the meantime...

Barbara

Inspiring, exceptional video

This is probably the most popular of all the videos I've shared with my list and several people have said they are going to listen to it every morning!

Enjoy it and have a great day.
